The Eqaila residence project, our client and his family needed our assistance with furnishing their main living area on the ground floor. Because we were working with such a large space, we knew we could make the best use of the area by dividing it into three zones: a formal reception room, a daily family room, and a dining space adjacent to the living area (separated by a partition). For the formal reception room, we incorporated neutral, cream tones, relying on different textures and light patterns to act as the main visual differentiators of the space. For the daily living room, we added vibrance with emerald green notes, opting for velvet curtains and a grey sectional that wrapped around the space and promoted a more casual familial experience. The dining space was kept bold and modern, with a 5-meter custom-built floating sideboard buffet, with enough built-in storage for the family’s beloved silver trays and luxury china reserved exclusively for entertainment purposes.
